Facilitator: Dr. Christy Morr

This class will address key issues that many women may face at various stages of life. While each woman walks a unique road on her own journey, there are many common experiences and challenges that bond us together as sisters. Being aware of these issues will help leaders design ministry programs to facilitate the holistic growth of women in and outside the church context.

GOALS: As a result of completing the requirements for this course, learners will be able to:

  • Define key issues that women face.
  • Reflect on the impact of these issues in their own personal life and development.
  • Begin discerning which particular issue God may be calling them to address in their local ministry context.

WHO WILL BENEFIT:

  • Women who are sought after for advice and support informally or formally.
  • Women who feel called to journey with other women in compassionate discipleship and mentoring relationships.
  • Women who lead or are part of a team to develop ministry programs for women in a church context.
  • Women who want to find bridges of connection to other women outside the church context.
