The Book Of Daniel: "Becoming a Light in Dark Places“
|
P7 |
Facilitator: Dr. Randall Smith
The collection of Daniel’s stories of faithfulness and God’s rescue of a few faithful captive Hebrews make up much of this dramatic, historic tale. Set within this story are a series of prophetic dreams that help explain the timeline of God’s program for the Gentile nations, and God’s unique protection and preservation of the Jewish people. As we move chapter by chapter through the book, we will carefully examine each dream and interpretation and fit the details into both the teachings of Jesus and the prophetic program explained by the apostles.
GOALS:
- To enjoy a passionate overview of the book of Daniel.
- To understand the context and meaning of the prophetic dreams in Daniel.
- To understand how the prophetic words in Daniel fit into the bigger picture of the Bible and of history.
WHO WILL BENEFIT:
- Anyone that likes a good story of drama and incredible promise.
- Teachers and pastors who anticipate teaching the book of Daniel.
- Learners who want to know that God keeps his promises.
