In the past 17 years, NorthRidge has transitioned from a dying church locked in a pattern of cultural irrelevance, to an exciting, contemporary church communicating God’s Word to people from every generation. After experiencing three decades of significant decline (a loss of 75% of all attenders and 90% of membership), NorthRidge has experienced a minimum of 20% growth annually for the past nine years. Presently they are ministering to over 12,700 people in their Weekend Services and last year alone saw over 2,100 first-time decisions for Christ.

Brad Powell is the Senior Pastor of NorthRidge Church, located in Plymouth, Michigan.

NorthRidge has been recognized as the Midwest’s “Fastest Growing Church” by Outreach Magazine and listed as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Churches by The Church Report.

A frequent conference speaker, Brad also provides leadership resources and encouragement to other churches in transition through NorthRidge Ministries Association and at an annual conference, Change Without Compromise.

Because of his strong belief that “the church is the hope of the world…when it’s working right,” he is passionate for helping other leaders and churches in transitioning to relevance, effectiveness, and growth. Brad’s new book, “Change Your Church for Good: The Art of Sacred Cow Tipping”, released from Thomas Nelson Publishing in January 2007. Brad and his wife, Roxann, have been married for 27 years and have three adult children.
